beta.uwink.com

Our new website is about to launch! Just so you all know, it actually links LIVE to the terminal menu in the restaurant. That means that if we add a special in the restaurant, it will automatically show up on the website. Very cool!

And before we launch the web site to the masses, we wanted to let our faithful blog readers know about it first and to ask you for your assistance. It’s available at http://beta.uwink.com.

We want your feedback. We want you looking for typos, grammatical errors, erroneous facts, misguided information, bad photos, etc.

After this site gets pounded on for about a week or two, we’ll launch it at www.uwink.com for the rest of the world.

Send comments to website(at)uwink(dot)com.

Please let know if it is accessable somewhere right now, or if I should keep check back to this or another web site.
Could you email registered uWink bloggers when the site is ready to be tested?

    Hello uWink,

You asked for feedback on your beta website and I’m happy to give it to you:)) Let me know if I should send my website comments here or somewhere else.
Here’s what I’ve noticed so far:
The “Our First Location” page. Some of the links are pointing to the wrong things, namely the Pics of Location, Floor Plan and signage links.
The “Plan Your next Event” button in the upper right corner returns a message “Could not connect to database”
Once you drill down into the food page, then back button brings you to the wine page not the food page.
And the Touch screen functionality isn’t working:))) (I REALLY want to be the FIRST one to point that out to you, I am the first to point that out on the beta webpage right, I meen you only post the site a few hours ago and all!!!!)

Let me know how I can help, very exciting company!!
    Rich

    uWnk replaces LAX Encounter restaurant…

Just an idea, but imagine the potential; both from the marketing and revenue perspective? This would solidify the Company’s enormous potential. I’ve eaten at Encounter a few times and think uWnk’s technology can add a lot of value. Nolan Bushnell should get together with the owner of Encounter to see if they can work out a mutual deal. uWNK would no longer be a dollar stock if something gets worked out. Thoughts?

P.S. - Your beta site was better than what was eventually released. I liked how the menu set up was on your beta site. It allowed users to experience the uWnk technology. The .pdf menu in your release was definitely a few steps back.
