Dear friends, family, and neighbors,
We would like to invite you to join us for lunch or dinner on us. We call these Play Days - days where our our team members rehearse before we open to make sure we are ready fo the public!
To join us for a meal, please call us at 818-992-1100 between the hours of 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. or 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. to schedule a time to dine!
Please note that these meals are for a limited number of time slots and meals, so it’s on a first call, first serve basis.

Sure wish I lived on the West Coast. I guess I’ll just wait for the Grande Opening to fly out there.

that’s great. any plans on a press release for this? the investors that check this blog know what uWink is about and that it is opening. but there may be people out there that want to try it for themselves before they risk their investing dollars. an oficial PR would draw more people in.

illhonky: My guess is that this isn’t designed to bring attention to uWink (that’s what the press dinner was for) This is just for those who’ve been following along and live in the area.
I wish I were out on the west coast too! Been following uWink for a little under a year now, and I’m excited to see that you’re so close to opening! I wish you all the best of success (and hope you eventually are able to expand out to the east coast too!)

petro: i thought my comment was somewhat transparent, but maybe not enough. if the opening continues to be delayed, the stock is going to TANK. we have been waiting patiently, but new buyers need to be made aware of progress or support won’t hold up for much longer.
and nothing came out of the press dinner thus far!
they have already notified the world through this blog and an 8-k of their pre-opening “free-food giveaway”. if they send out a PR for this, i dont think that it’ll overflow the restaurant with interested investors and it definetely won’t hurt the stock price.

I have to say that the food is delicious! Came there with my family last night, and the place looks wonderful. We had a lot of fun. This place will definitely be the place to hang out when it opens. Great job!
