Media Alert: uWink to Unveil uWink bistro to Local Press
Friday, September 22nd, 2006Nolan Bushnell, founder and former CEO of Atari and Chuck E. Cheese, is inviting local press to visit his newest innovation, uWink in Woodland Hills, Calif., Tuesday, September 26th, from 12 – 5 p.m. uWink is a new restaurant experience - a social entertainment eatery where guests can order their food, drinks and media (think games, movie trailers, horoscopes and other media candy) via touch screens located at their table.
What: uWink founder, Nolan Bushnell, and executives will be on hand to offer local press a first look at uWink before it opens to the public. Press must schedule an appointment between 12 -5 p.m. to speak with executives, sample menu items and experience this new restaurant concept.
When: Tuesday, September 26, 2006 12 – 5 p.m. *PRESS EVENT ONLY, must RSVP in advance.
Where: uWink is located at the Westfield Promenade in Woodland Hills, Calif., just off Topanga Canyon Blvd. and Highway 101. uWink is located above Maggiano’s Little Italy restaurant and the Corner Bakery on the north side of the mall.

(OTC Bulletin Board: UWNK - News), a publicly-held digital entertainment company, will host a live Webcast tomorrow, September 19, 2006, at 10:45 a.m., of CEO Nolan Bushnell and CFO Peter Wilkniss’ presentation at the third annual Merriman Curhan Ford & Co. Investor Summit.
What: Merriman Curhan Ford & Co., a securities broker-dealer and investment bank, and subsidiary of MCF Corporation (AMEX:MEM), is holding its third annual Investor Summit today through September 20, featuring 150 companies in growth industries driven by innovation. Are You Experienced?
Sunday, September 10th, 2006Jimi Hendrix once asked the question ‘are you experienced?’ It held different meaning to flower children, but for us at uWink, we’re getting ready to ask that question. Oddly the questions we keep getting are when are you opening? Is the restaurant ready? Is the menu ready? Is the software ready? We don’t look at it that way. And we hope our customers won’t. For us it’s about an experience. You can’t separate the media from the food from the paint on the walls from the drinks from the napkins. It’s one experience and a new one…..
